Political Action for Candidate Election
The Arizona PACE committee represents social workers in state and local elections and builds grassroots networks through member political education and mobilization. PACE endorses state and local candidates and collaborates with the national PACE unit during federal elections.
Membership on the Arizona PACE committee is non-elected but committee members are approved by the Chapter Board of Directors. The Arizona Political Action for Candidate Election (PACE) is the political action committee of the National Association of Social Workers-Arizona Chapter. PACE promotes political education and full participation in the electoral political process among members of the social work profession and fosters the participation of interested members to elect candidates who support NASW’s public policy goals. PACE is a bipartisan political action committee dedicated to advancing social workers’ goals in campaigns and elections.
